Banks, released after five years, put on parole and forced to wear an ankle bracelet as a registered sex offender. Banks’ luck changed when the accuser sent him a friend invite on Facebook, requesting to let “bygones be bygones”. The two met up and she admitted to lying and making up the whole story. A story which is even more ridiculous since the State Prosecutor found no DNA evidence when they wanted to take him to trial, just a case of “he said, she said”, might I also throw in the fact that the two never did have sex with each other. Either way, after admitting that she lied, she stated she “will not help him clear his name as her family would have to give back the $1.5 million dollar cash settlement they received from the School board.”

Luckily, this was videotaped, as shown below in the video below. The case was heard and quickly dismissed. I am so happy Banks’ is out of jail and hopefully somebody gives this kid a chance, if not in the NFL, at least somewhere else.

As for the no good bitch, scum of the Earth that put this man through hell for the last ten agonizing years… I have nothing to say other than I hope she goes to jail. Lying about something so heinous is lower than low. No man deserves this shit. Rape is a serious thing. Once you’re accused, your life changes forever. It doesn’t matter if you’re guilty or innocent, most outsiders see you in a different light. Hopefully, people will look at him as a good individual and not look down on him.

Somebody has abandoned their alligator

Sunday afternoon, a dude named John got a heads-up from his neighbour that there is an alligator in his backyard.

Astonished by this discovery, the man grabs his camera and takes pictures.

I would like to say this is fucking ridiculous that people don’t know better than to try and bottle up such exotic animals as pets. This is not the habitat for an alligator and they get so big, so fast, you’re just going to be irresponsible and dump them anyways. The jackass responsible for this should be charged. I’m done. The Brooklyn-bound New Jersey Nets webpage starts up with a teaser page which shows the outline of a shield with the hashtag under it which states “#helloBrooklyn”.

The organization planned to release the new logo on Monday when the name change becomes official. However, a vindictive dude who works in the IT, or did up until yesterday released on Twitter what the logo will look like. More than likely, this will be the logo. I find it a bit bland. Is the “B” in the basketball really necessary? I’m all for getting rid of the old colours. However, I do think they could’ve done better.

P.S. I’m pretty sure the blue construction tape on the mockup will be removed.

Nike has taken over the apparel and equipment contract from Reebok and it couldn’t have come any sooner. I have missed seeing the swoosh on the Dallas Cowboys uniform. To be quite honest, there are only subtle changes made to the uniforms other than style and fitting of the jersey. The exception to the subtle changes is that of the Seattle Seahawks. COT DAMN!!! I admit, I’m loving the uniforms.

I know people were expecting radical things from Nike but that is not necessarily the case… yet. There are a few caveats to keep in mind. One, only the home jerseys were revealed for each team, with the exception of Seattle. With that being said, Nike is definitely holding back on the radical designs possibly for the alternate jersey for each team. Secondly, a team is only allowed to do a major redesign once every five years. Some teams have a bit of time before they can undergo a complete overhaul.

If you have a problem with someone, address the problem with that person in the appropriate manner. Please keep in mind, the appropriate manner does not mean to shoot up the place, I was not referring to anything violent for the record. This post will NOT be used against me in that fashion, motherfuckers. No sir. People creating fake accounts on social networking sites and logging into other accounts to monitor ones movements is NOT COOL. There is no need for side-bitching (subliminal messages), if you want to use your account for that, call names. There’s no need to beat around the bush. If the person can see it and you’re talking about them, don’t be a coward about it… call names. My golden rule with this is you’re willing to oil up your chest and flex over social media, you better damn well have that same swagger in person. If you want to talk it out over the phone, there is no need to call private number, who are you hiding from that you have to call private. We’re all grown-ass adults, not kids. Stop hiding, that’s some crazy people shit. Everyone should be held accountable for what the say or do.

I recall a situation a few years back when there was a call to the house from some collection agency at Yonge & Eglinton, calling for my brother and the jive turkey on the line decided to talk a bit too reckless for my liking. I called her out on it, and she challenged me. What she did not expect though, was me showing up at her office asking her to repeat what she said to my face. Needless to say, she was very apologetic as was her manager. I’m pretty sure she didn’t want to deal with Louisville Slugger that morning and yes, I’m aware 53 Division was a block away. (Tell someone who gives a fuck)

There are a few others I can dive into but I’ll save that for when I decide to write a book. The point is, be straight-forward with your shit and don’t be reckless with your words on the internet or over the phone unless you actually have intentions of saying in a face-to-face meeting.

With kids going for their mandatory one-year sentence, the quality of College Basketball will decrease because will not get the experience they need playing together and will obviously lack cohesion of teams past. Most of these kids leaving early will not have success in the NBA either. They have talent, but their game will still need polishing and they won’t get the nurturing needed to necessarily help them succeed.

The last thing these kids need is actual proof the system is successful forcing them to forfeit their education for the most part. I’m pretty sure Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are declaring for the NBA as of Wednesday. If Kentucky wins, say goodbye to the College game as it will become watching a cheap-ass Atlanta Hawks-Charlotte Bobcats scrimmage. With that being said, GO LOUISVILLE or Kansas for that matter.
